White Opal or The Eye Stone

White Opal, The Star Stone of our Earth or considered The Eye Stone for its properties in soothing the eyesight. The name Opal is from the Sanskrit upala, which means jewel.  Forms through the errosion of sediment and the solidification through dehydration of silica acid gel.

Spiritually :  White Precious Opal illuminates and intensifies all aspects of the spiritual body, helping one to identify and release old wounds, fears and anger, and other patterns of negativity that harm the self and ultimately others.

Subconsciously : Opal is most known for its ability to bring one’s traits and characteristics to the surface for examination and transformation. Allows for the release of inhibitions inspiring love and passion.

Mentally : White Opal is the happiest of the Opals, radiating optimism and good humor, enthusiasm, imagination and creativity, and invigorates anyone who comes into regular contact with its energies. Opal is a highly absorbent and reflective stone. It will pick up on your thoughts and emotions, magnify them, and send them back to you.

Physically : This stone has the ability to regulate the insulin levels in the  body. It can also work on detoxifying and regenerating the liver. Helps in childbirth and ease the symptoms of PMS. Opal is also known to be beneficial to the eyes. It  strengthens the immune system, protects  from the common cold or flu. It can also act as a stimulator for your bladder, kidneys, and lymph.

Application : Opal has a regenerative effect, so it’s an excellent stone to have with you after an illness or after undergoing a major procedure. It acts when wearing it, applying it on the cardiac region, as well as in contemplative meditation.
